With little dramatics, Curtis Decker put himself into the Penns Valley record books Thursday night.

The senior picked up the 118th win of his career, moving him into first all-time for the Rams wrestling program.

Penns Valley, however, fell 50-27 to West Branch.

Decker broke the mark that stood less than a year by Cory Hazel, who graduated last year with a 117-17 career record. Hazel is now wrestling at Lock Haven.

The milestone came rather inauspiciously, with Decker winning by forfeit at 145 pounds.

Picking up pins for the Rams were Logan Johnson (220), Allen Cain (182) and Darren Yearick (113), while Dylan Confer (132) won by major decision and Jared Hurd (152) won by decision.

The Rams host rival Bald Eagle Area on Tuesday.
