State College wrestling topples Carlisle

State College had little trouble defending its own mat on Thursday, taking down Carlisle 48-21.

The Little Lions benefited from four pins, three wins by forfeit, and a pair of wins by decision.

The pins came from Adam Stover (113 pounds), Jacob Pammer (120), Cory Dreibelbis (195) and Jack Vandebort (285). Dreibelbis scored the fastest fall of the evening, needing only 44 seconds to defeat Carlisle’s Zach Redcay.

State College’s Dalton Barger earned a close 8-7 decision, taking down Drevan Howard at 145 pounds.

Cole Urbas also notched a win by decision for the Little Lions. He won 5-2 over Grant Shughart.
