State College hockey outlasts Bishop Guilfoyle
Enduring a pair of scoreless periods, State College outlasted Bishop Guilfoyle on Thursday night, scoring two third-period goals in a 2-0 win at Pegula Ice Arena.
Megan Klaus opened the scoring with a goal at the 11:22 mark in the third, assisted by Andrew Moscone.
Petr Horgos later polished the game off with an empty-net goal with three seconds left.
State College goaltender Chris Rosselot made 21 saves, while Bishop Guilfoyle’s Trent Bogert stopped 38 Little Lion shots.
State College (10-1) plays Hollidaysburg on Monday at Galactic Ice in Altoona.
