State College girls’ swimming dominates
State College took care of Mifflin County on Thursday, earning a dominant 146-33 win.
The Lady Little Lions took first in every event, both as a team and individually.
Thalia Stout won the 200-yard freestyle, Ally Hughes earned top placement in the 200 individual medley, and Grace Tothero earned a win in the 50 freestyle.
Juliet Garrigan was atop the competition in the 100 butterfly, while Kate Cooper edged Hannah Finton in the 100 freestyle, and Kelsey Bittel won the 500 freestyle.
As a team, State College (7-1) took the first two spots in the 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay.
In diving, Tally Brown had a final score of 193.45, followed by Morgan Fusco’s 154.30.
