Bellefonte edges Jersey Shore in boys’ swimming

Senior Finn Nixdorf was a double indiviudal winner for Bellefonte in a tight 74-71 victory over Jersey Shore, Thursday on Senior night.

Nixdorf won the 50- and 100-yard freestyle. He was also part of the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays, along with Chance Foster, Ian Lowery and Brian Feldman.

Foster, a senior captain, added another win in the 100 breaststroke. Lowery won the 200 IM and 100 backstroke.

Bellefonte will travel to Cambria Heights on Feb. 2.
