Mifflin County cruises to win over State College

Mifflin County wrestling put up a dominant performance against State College on Thursday night, beating the Lions 50-14.

The win was punctuated by impressive pins from Mifflin County’s Hayden Heidly, who handled Ian Barr in 46 seconds, as well as Jonah Kile, who pinned Shane Ekdahl in just under a minute.

Kyle Smith won in a technical fall over Ari Gluckman in 3:22 with a score of 16-2, and Noah Mars earned a major decision over Jacob Pammer, 20-3.

State College hosts Central Mountain on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
