Penns Valley girls’ basketball rolls

Penns Valley utilized a strong first half to snatch a 56-19 win over Cowanesque Valley on Saturday.

The Lady Rams limited the Indians to 10 points in the first half, while tallying 31 themselves. Penns Valley polished the game off with a 25-9 advantage in the final two quarters.

Maci Ilgen and Dayna Brown led all scorers with 10 points apiece. The Lady Rams also saw contributions from Emma Butler and Peyton Homan, who scored eight points each.

Penns Valley (15-4) hosts Clearfield on Tuesday.
