State College beats Carlisle in boys’ swimming

Dave Rovansek led State College with two individual wins in a 125-58 win over Carlisle on Tuesday.

Rovansek won both the 50 and 500-yard freestyle races. He was also part of the winning 200-freestyle relay team along with Tobias Van Dyke, Filip Turecky and Jordan Hillsley.

Other Little Lion winners included: Mikey Challis (200 freestyle), Van Dyke (200 IM), Turecky (100 butterfly), Hillsley (100 freestyle), Benjamin Gingher (100 backstroke), Nick Brooks (diving) and the 200 medley and 400 freestyle medley relay teams.

State College (10-0) will travel to Upper St. Clair on Saturday.
