Little Lions turn in strong performance at diving championships

State College had three top-eight finishers at the Mid Penn Class AAA Diving Championships on Wednesday.

Nick Brooks led the trio with a fourth-place finish and score of 341.65. Jacob Whipple followed with a fifth-place finished (333.1), while . Mike Timmons was seventh (289.60).

Hershey’s Jake Hedrick won the event with a score of 474.30.

The divers will compete again at the District 6 meet on March 4 and 5.
