Urban sets St. Joseph’s track & field record

Eli Urban set a school record as St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy track & field participated in Saturday’s Tri States Coaches Track and Field Coaches Association (TSTCA) Meet at Edinboro University.

Urban’s time of 9:24.45 in the 3000 meter was tops for the program, and good for fifth overall on the day.

Also in the 3,000-meter, Grace Cousins (11:35.50) and Emma Youngmark (12:44.84) placed seventh and 17th, respectively, in the girls’ competition.

St. Joseph’s girls’ relay team of Sera Mazza, Kate Ott, Julia Cusatis and Lucia Person was dominant, finishing first overall in the distance medley (13:20).

In the girls’ 800 meter, Lindsey Carmack (2:36.14) and Jordan Wiser (2:42.38) recorded seventh and 17th marks, respectively. In the boys’ event, Michael Peters (2:09.68) and Charles Ross (2:17.66) were 12th and 24th, respectively.

Andy Rogan’s time of 5:00.99 put him at 22nd in the boys’ mile.
