Bellefonte swimming wraps up regular season

Bellefonte boys’ and girls’ swimming closed its regular season, finishing fourth and 13th, respectively, at the Mark Hess Memorial Invitational at Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The boys’ team posted a score of 127.5 points, while the girls’ squad had 51 points.

The 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams of Finn Nixdorf, Dmitry Wall, Brian Feldman and Chance Foster took third place in both events, while Nixdorf placed third individually in the 50 and 100 freestyles.

Foster finished second in the 100 breaststroke, while Feldman tied for fifth in the same event.

For the girls’ team, Zoey Cole’s time of 1:15.52 was good for fifth in the 100 breaststroke.

Cole was also ninth in the 100 butterfly with a 1:07.74 mark.
