Weather prompts District 6 basketball changes
District 6 has postponed all of Tuesday's basketball playoff games because of poor weather conditions and school closings.
The games will be played Wednesday at the same site and time, according to an announcement from the district. Tuesday's postponements includes the Philipsburg-Osceola girls' game against Central Cambria in a Class AA first-round contest at 6 p.m. at Bishop Carroll High School.
In addition, the rest of the week's schedule will shift by one day.
The Class AA quarterfinals for the Penns Valley girls and boys, that were slated to be played Thursday are now scheduled for Friday. Sites and times have not been announced for the Penns Valley games.
The schedules for the Class AAA and AAAA have not yet been announced. They are expected later this week. None of those games will be played before next Monday, including games for the Bellefonte boys and State College boys and girls.
