Bellefonte baseball loses season opener

Bellefonte baseball lost its season opener 11-1 to Central on Thursday.

The Red Raiders’ Dominic Masullo was the losing pitcher. He tossed 2 2/3 innings, allowed three runs, struck out three, and walked six.

Central’s Josh McKnight earned the win, allowing only one run over six innings of work. Bellefonte’s lone run was scored in the second inning on a fielder’s choice.

The Red Raiders (0-1) travels to Huntingdon on Tuesday.
