Garcia wins 3 events for Philipsburg-Osceola track & field

Celena Garcia won three events and Kylie Whitehead took two to power Philipsburg-Osceola over Huntingdon 89-56 Tuesday in the season opening meet for both.

The meet was contested at Penns Valley. Results for the Lady Rams were unavailable Tuesday night.

Garcia won the pole vault, high jump and triple jump to lead the Lady Mounties. Whitehead raced to her wins in the 800- and 1,600-meter runs. Julia Burns took the discus and Kyra James sprinted to the 200-meter dash victory.
