Erupting for a 13-run second inning, Philipsburg-Osceola hammered Tyrone 20-1 on Tuesday in its season opener.
Kamryn Harris was a dual threat for the Lady Mounties, dealing in the circle and making Tyrone pay at the plate. Harris was the winning pitcher, allowing only two hits in three innings of work, and tallied a team-high four RBIs, going 4 of 4 with three singles and a double.
P-O’s Jayde Burge also had three RBIs on a double and triple, while Chelsey Henry and Kendra Karns each had two RBIs.
In all, the Lady Mounties had 14 hits.
