Person sets girls’ track and field record for St. Joseph’s

Lucia Person set a school record in the 3,200-meter run in St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy’s 97-50 loss to Central Mountain on Tuesday.

Person finished first in the event with a time of 11 minutes, 51.4 seconds.

Xabine Stager-Kamats (100 hurdles and pole vault), Sera Mazza (400), Mary Elliot (long jump) and Anna Legaspi (100) each won their events for the Lady Wolves. The 3,200 relay team of Lindsey Carmack, Lea Fisher, Mazza and Person placed first.
