The Penns Valley baseball team survived six errors to knock off Bellefonte 10-7 Friday afternoon.

Luke Snyder earned the win on the mound with a complete-game effort, overcoming the errors by the defense to give new coach Jon Bowersox his first win.

“Luke Snyder threw a heck of game tonight,” Bowersox said. “He mixed his pitches all game and was actually getting stronger in the late innings.”

Snyder helped his cause at the plate with a 2 for 4 day with a double and two RBIs for the Rams (1-2). Logan Johnson and Hunter Homan also were 2 for 4 with two RBIs, with Homan belting a triple, and Luke Sharer doubled and knocked in a pair of runs.

Tyler Kreger and Nick Jabco each had a pair of hits for the Red Raiders (0-4), and Kreger also took the loss.
