Shultz leads Bald Eagle Area past Bishop McCort
Sydney Shultz pitched a complete-game four-hitter as Bald Eagle Area edged Bishop McCort 4-2 Friday.
Shultz struck out seven and walked four while holding off the Crimson Crushers, who were helped by four Lady Eagle errors.
“Sydney pitched a real solid game,” BEA coach Don Lucas said. “We strung some hits together and scored some runs and got some timely hitting.”
Jenna Gaunt took the loss, giving up five Lady Eagle singles, and collected three hits of her own at the plate.
