State College boys’ volleyball falls to Chambersburg
After taking the first set, State College dropped the next three to Chambersburg to fall 26-28, 25-21, 25-16, 28-26 on Tuesday night.
“We played the match really competitively,” State College coach Kim-Li Kimel said. “They were fighting the whole time.”
Three of the four sets were decided by four or fewer points. Gabe Avillion led the Little Lions with 27 kills. Noah Christie added three aces to his 21 digs, while Brandon Kuruzovich had 35 assists and six blocks.
State College (0-2) hits the road to face Carlisle on Thursday.
