Erik Ebel and Griffin Thompson had big performances as State College took first place in all but one event on the day for a 129-21 domination of Central Dauphin at South Track Field on Tuesday.
Thompson cleared 15 feet, 1 inch in the pole vault, which is the top mark in the state, according to pa.milesplit.com. Thompson had the previous best mark of 14-6 last weekend.
Ebel took first place with a throw of 170 feet, 5 inches in the javelin, a 148-1 in the discus and 47-5 in the shot put.
Brandon Clark was a double winner in the long and triple jumps, and the Little Lions also saw wins from Lucas Gray (high jump), Tristan Daman (100 meters), Noah Woods (200), Noah Oesterling (400), Tony Degleris (800), Alex Milligan (1,600), Owen Isham (3,200), Patrick Holovick (110 hurdles) and Aziz Salamy (300 hurdles), along with the 400 and 1,600 relay teams.
