Philipsburg-Osceola tops Penns Valley in softball

Philipsburg-Osceola broke through for four runs in the seventh inning to seal a 5-0 victory over Penns Valley on Wednesday.

Kylie Thal, Haylee Hayward and Chelsey Henry led the Lady Mounties offense with two singles each.

Winning pitcher Maggie Peck recorded seven stikeouts.

Penns Valley will travel to East Juniata on Thursday, while Philipsburg-Osceola will host Bellefonte on Friday.
