Penns Valley baseball falls to Huntingdon
Plagued by five errors, Penns Valley fell 5-3 to Huntingdon on Tuesday.
Huntingdon’s Jared Showalker was the winning pitcher, while Penns Valley’s Luke Snyder was tabbed with the loss despite only two earned runs.
Hunter Homan was 2 for 3 with a double, single and RBI for the Rams, and also scored on a wild pitch.
But Huntingdon’s Nick Holesa hit a home run, while the Bearcats’ pitchers amassed nine strikeouts.
Penns Valley (1-4) hosts Claysburg on Wednesday.
