Philipsburg-Osceola baseball shuts out Central

After a two-run first inning, Philipsburg-Osceola rode a big fourth inning to an 11-0 shutout of Central on Tuesday.

Each of the Mounties’ six runs in the fourth came with two outs. They tacked three more on in the sixth for the double-digit victory.

Josh Earnest picked up the win for the Mounties, while also going 2-4 at the plate with a triple.

Philipsburg-Osceola (5-0) hosts Bellwood-Antis on Wednesday.
