Rams split at boys’ track and field meet

Penns Valley earned a 78.5-71.5 win over Central, but fell 98-52 to Tyrone on Tuesday.

Sam Goodwin won the 400-meter run for the Rams, finishing in 55.3 seconds. Penns Valley’s Ethan Stroup took first in the discus (112-9), and Takoda Bubb won the javelin (128-9).

Penns Valley’s 1,600 relay team of Goodwin, Jared Hurd, Keith Griffith and Stephen Gover finished first with a time of 3:46.80.
