Bellefonte blanks Tyrone in softball

Bellefonte downed Tyrone 6-0 on Wednesday.

Samantha Gates led the Lady Red Raiders offense with a two-run double. Bellefonte’s Tara Baney added a double, while Jenna Ault and Rachael Bernier both had two hits.

Bernier finished with four strikeouts and allowed four hits in seven innings to earn the win.

Bellefonte will host Central on Thursday.
