Tucker Triebold kept the Cumberland Valley bats quiet all day Thursday.
The Eagles were no-hit by the senior in a 7-0 State College baseball victory.
Triebold struck out eight, walked two and needed just 79 pitches to shut down the Eagles. He also got good backing from his defense, with eight groundouts and four flyouts, the last of which was a Taylor Zampelli fly ball to end the game.
Liam Clarke, Evan Moerschbacher, Zach Ripka and Dalton Barger each had two hits to pace the offense for the Little Lions (4-2), who collected 11 singles. Chris Adams had an RBI single and Ripka added an RBI groundout in the first inning, Barger had an RBI single in the second, and Clarke drove in one run and scored another with a three-run third. Ripka and Clarke finished with two RBIs apiece.
