State College boys’ lacrosse falls in overtime
Despite a nine-save night from Noah Schwab, State College fell 8-7 in overtime to visiting Carlisle on Thursday.
The Little Lions started out slow, going down 4-0 into the second quarter. They eventually took the lead, but the Thundering Herd were able to tie the game with 45 seconds left in regulation.
In overtime, the Thundering Herd’s George Faller netted his fifth goal of the game to steal the victory.
The Little Lions’ Ryan Franks had a hat trick, while Jon Seighman finished with a goal and three assists. Will Harvey had a goal and two assists.
State College hosts Bishop Shanahan on Saturday.
