3rd inning propels Bald Eagle Area baseball over Tyrone
Bald Eagle Area’s six-run third inning helped deliver a 10-3 win over Tyrone on Friday.
Brian Egan struck out eight for the victory.
“Egan pitched a good game for us and kept Tyrone to four hits,” BEA coach Jim Gardner said.
Trey Butterworth was 3 for 4 while Andrew Swabick and Caleb Bell each added a single and double for the Eagles. Teammate Brandon Barnyak ripped a triple.
Bald Eagle Area (3-3) will travel to Bellefonte on Monday.
