St. Josephs rallies for baseball win
Justin Beck’s two-run, walk-off double capped the rally as St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy stormed back from an early deficit to beat Bishop Carroll 6-5 under the lights of the Shaner Complex on Friday night.
Down 5-0 and limited to just one hit over the first five innings, the Wolves began their comeback with a four-run sixth, capped by a Jack Mangene RBI single. In the seventh, Trevor Bullick singled and Bryce Herman doubled to put two runners in scoring position before Beck’s walk-off hit.
Nathaniel Mellott picked up the win in relief.
