Philipsburg-Osceola suffered its first loss of the season, falling 6-4 to Clearfield on Monday.

Bison Brandon Orsich racked up 12 stikeouts in seven innings to keep the Mounties’ bats quiet.

Logan Williamson and Gage Coudriet doubled for P-O.

Losing pitcher Josh Earnest struck out three and allowed six hits and two walks in seven innings.

P-O (7-1) will travel to St. Joseph’s on Wednesday.
