Philipsburg-Osceola splits girls’ track meet

Celena Garcia turned in a strong day as Philipsburg-Osceola defeated Central 79-67, but fell 96-49 to Clearfield on Tuesday.

Garcia took the pole vault (7-6) and the high jump (4-8), and placed second in the triple jump (30-5). Kylie Whitehead placed second in the 3,200-meter run, clocking in at 15:09.17.

Philipsburg-Osceola competes in the Mountain League Meet next Wednesday.
