Philipsburg-Osceola baseball falls to Tyrone
Tyrone jumped out to an early lead against Philipsburg-Osceola, never surrending it in a 4-3 win on Thursday.
The Golden Eagles (3-6) worked the Mounties’ Isaac Knepp for two runs and 60 pitches through the first three innings. They tacked on two more in the fourth inning.
Caleb Belinda homered for the Mounties, who put up three runs late but couldn’t complete the comeback.
Philipsburg-Osceola (8-2) hosts Huntingdon on Saturday.
