For both the girls’ and the boys’ team, Bellefonte had several placewinners, highlighted by wins from Olivia Spratt and Nate Wert, at the Brookville Invite on Saturday.
Spratt impressed, leaping 4 feet, 10 inches in her winning event, the high jump. She also placed second in the 100-meter hurdles.
Additionally for the girls’ squad, Anya Hoaglund was second in the 3,200-meter run, Aubrey Kuhn placed fifth in the pole vault and Sadie Woodring finished sixth in the discus.
The 4x100, 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams wrapped up at fourth, fourth and second, respectively.

On the boys’ side, Wert won in the pole vault, Bryce Steiner was third in the 300 hurdles, Michael O’Donnell placed fifth in the 800-meter run and Patrick Johnsonbaugh had a fourth-place mark in the discus.
Moryelle Fernandez was third in both the 100-meter dash and triple jump.
Bellefonte’s next meet is the Mountain League Championship at Clearfield on Wednesday.
