Error tilts baseball game in State College loss

A strong performance from Gavin Schaefer-Hood wasn’t enough as State College fell 5-4 to Cedar Cliff on Tuesday.

Schaefer-Hood punched out four, while keeping Cedar Cliff hitless over his 4 1/3 innings. But Cedar Cliff scored on an error in the fifth to take the lead.

Mason Mellott doubled and had three RBIs for the Little Lions.

State College hosts Central Dauphin on Thursday.
