Urban leads St. Joseph’s at boys’ track and field meet
Eli Urban raced to a first-place finish in the 800 meters and helped the St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy 3,200 relay team to a second-place finish at the Bellwood-Antis Invitational on Monday.
Urban ran a 1:59.86 in the 800 and combined with Charles Ross, Jacob Cusatis and Kaelan Wright in the relays.
Wolf Lance Hamilton added third- and fouth-place finishes in the triple and long jumps, repsectively. His triple jump of 41 feet, 9 1/4 inches broke the school record.
Kaelan Wright added a fifth-place finish in the 1,600.
St. Joe’s will travel to the West Central Coaches Invitational in Altoona on Friday.
