Late run lifts Philipsburg-Osceola to softball victory

Philipsburg-Osceola’s seventh-inning run gave the Lady Mounties a 2-1 softball victory over Bellwood-Antis on Monday.

Hannah Thompson singled and scored on an error for the winning run in the top of the seventh.

Haylee Hayward, Kamryn Harris, and Maggie Peck all hit doubles for the Lady Mounties.

Harris and Peck each struck out four in the circle, with Peck earning the win.

P-O will travel to Bellefonte on Tuesday.
