State College falls to Carlisle in baseball
Five runs in the first two innings gave Carlisle plenty cushion, as the Thundering Herd downed State College 8-3 on Thursday.
Micaha Knisley was the winning pitcher for Carlisle, while Bailey Ishler was tagged with the loss. Ishler lasted four innings and gave up five runs.
Chris Adams provided a spark offensively for the Little Lions, reaching base safely three times and scoring two runs.
But it wasn’t enough, as Carlisle’s Colton Sweeney, Ralphy Suarez and Hunter Swartz combined for five RBIs.
State College plays Cumberland Valley on Tuesday.
