Bald Eagle Area softball tops Clearfield

Zoey Surovec drove in two runs and pitched a complete game to lead Bald Eagle Area to a 9-3 win over Clearfield on Friday.

Surovec scattered seven hits, struck out one and walked two to earn the win for the Lady Eagles, who led 5-1 after two innings. Bald Eagle Area’s Mikala Smith had two doubles and two RBIs.

BEA (11-4) hosts Tyrone on Monday.
