Bald Eagle Area’s Brian Egan throws no-hitter in win over Bellwood-Antis

Bald Eagle Area’s Brian Egan threw a no-hitter to lead the Eagles to a 2-0 win over Bellwood-Antis on Saturday.

Egan struck out 12, walked two and hit two batters in his complete-game effort.

“Brian threw an amazing game,” BEA coach Jim Gardner said. “... He had great control of all his pitches. He had it all going on.”

The Eagles scored two runs in the third inning on RBI singles by Trey Butterworth and Andy Swabick.

BEA (11-5) returns to action at Tyrone on Tuesday.
