Kubalak delivers shutout for Penns Valley softball

Emma Kubalak pitched a shutout as Penns Valley dropped Tyrone 3-0 Thursday.

Kubalak struck out six, walked two, hit a batter and scattered six singles for the victory.

Anna Baran struck out 10 in the Eagles’ loss.

Abby Thom powered the Lady Rams’ offense with three hits, scoring a run and knocking in another. Mikenna Lyons scored the other two runs, and Caroline Collison and Dayna Brown each knocked in runs.
