Kephart’s double lifts Philipsburg-Osceola past West Branch
Brandon Kephart’s two-run double broke a tie in the seventh inning to help the Philipsburg-Osceola baseball team to a 10-7 win over West Branch on Tuesday.
Josh Earnest earned the win for the Mounties.
With the score tied 7-7 going to the seventh, Kephart doubled to give P-O the lead. Caleb Belinda followed with an RBI double.
Belinda and Derek Shaw both finished with two RBIs.
The Mounties (13-7) are set to host No. 10 seed Chestnut Ridge in the first round of the District 6 Class AA playoffs Thursday at 4 p.m.
