State College girls’ tennis beats Palmyra

The State College girls’ tennis team was dominant in a 5-0 win over Palmyra on Friday.

State College’s Kelly Vanden beat Alli Lynn 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Laura Guay earned a 6-0, 6-1 win over Maddie Beidler at No. 2 singles and Shannon Steel defeated Cassidy Hoffer 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.

Lady Little Lions pair Maggie Jaenicke and Jasmine Cao won their match at No. 1 doubles, and State College’s Betsy Driscoll and Caroline Kranich won at No. 2 doubles.

State College (2-0) hosts Carlisle on Monday.
