State College girls’ tennis falls to Carlisle

State College suffered its first loss of the season, falling 3-2 to Carlisle on Monday.

State College’s Kelly Vanden defeated Meg Ulrich 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. Lady Little Lions duo Maggie Jaenicke and Jasmine Cao picked up the team’s other win at No. 1 doubles.

State College (2-1) hosts Cumberland Valley on Tuesday.
