State College boys’ soccer falls to Lower Dauphin in opener

Timmy Townsend scored the day’s lone goal as Lower Dauphin dropped State College 1-0 Saturday afternoon in the season opener.

Townsend’s score in the 48th minute held up for the Falcons, who outshot the Little Lions 15-7.

Jason Keller made 10 saves in the loss.
