State College’s Kam’ron Walker is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

The Little Lions defensive tackle helped record the football team’s three sacks in a 35-0 win over Carlisle last Friday. He was part of a defensive effort that limited the Thundering Herd to negative-4 rushing yards on 20 carries.

Walker and the Little Lions have recorded back-to-back shutouts and limited opponents to six points per game this season.

State College (5-0) hosts Cumberland Valley this Friday.
