St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy’s Sera Mazza is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

Mazza finished first with a time of 22 minutes, 16 seconds over the 5K course to lead the St. Joseph’s girls’ cross country team to a 15-50 win over Philipsburg-Osceola last Thursday.

She then finished 18th in a field of 142 at the Manhattan High School Invitational in New York City on Saturday. Mazza had a time of 15:18.00 in the 4,000-meter run. The Lady Wolves placed 17th out of 20 teams.
