State College’s Leah Henderson captures CDT’s Athlete of the Week honor

State College’s Leah Henderson is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

Henderson helped the Lady Little Lions (17-0) capture the first-ever Mid Penn Conference championship Saturday. She had 12 assists in the team’s 3-0 win over Milton Hershey and finished with 25 assists in a 3-2 win over Palmyra in the title game.

Henderson had eight kills, five aces and 10 assists in a 3-0 win over Carlisle on Tuesday, and she recorded eight assists in a 3-0 win over Cedar Cliff on Thursday.
