Bellefonte’s Mallorie Smith is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

Smith scored two goals in the Lady Red Raiders’ 3-2 loss to Huntingdon on Wednesday in the District 6 Class AAA girls’ soccer semifinals, setting the program’s single-season record for goals.

Smith, a freshman, finished with 28 goals this year. The previous record was set by Jessica Fisher in 2007.
