Penns Valley girls’ basketball player Maci Ilgen named CDT’s Athlete of the Week

Maci Ilgen, of the Penns Valley girls’ basketball team, is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

The senior forward had an all-around game in the Lady Rams’ 49-31 comeback win against Huntingdon on Friday. Ilgen posted 17 points, 11 rebounds and five steals in helping her team rally from a five-point halftime deficit.

Earlier in the week, she scored seven points in a 45-39 loss to Mifflinburg. The Lady Rams are now 6-4 on the season.
