Philipsburg-Osceola’s Halle Herrington named CDT Athlete of the Week

Philipsburg-Osceola’s Halle Herrington is a Centre Daily Times Athlete of the Week.

Herrington continued her impressive campaign with a pair of 40-point performances last week. She set the program’s single-game record with 45 points — topping Emily Wagner’s 44-point game during the 1993-94 season — in the Lady Mounties’ 73-57 win over Clearfield on Tuesday night.

Herrington then scored 40 points to lead Philipsburg-Osceola past St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy 64-25 on Wednesday night.
